FunkyMEDIA Publishes Brand Intelligence Graph Framework for Analyzing Brand Presence in AI Search

POLAND, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- FunkyMEDIA has published details of its Brand Intelligence Graph, a framework designed to analyze how brands, topics, external sources, user-generated content and landing pages are connected across the public web.
The framework responds to changes in online discovery caused by generative artificial intelligence and AI-powered search systems.

Traditional digital marketing has generally focused on website visibility in search engines. AI-generated answers are changing that process by allowing users to receive recommendations, comparisons and summaries before visiting a company website.

FunkyMEDIA describes this developing area as AI Search.

The agency's research focuses on the information that can be discovered about a brand across multiple public sources, rather than only on information published on the brand's own website.

These sources may include industry publications, company profiles, articles, videos, podcasts, reviews, user-generated content, product pages and Brand Mentions.

Brand Intelligence Graph
The FunkyMEDIA Brand Intelligence Graph is intended to represent a brand as a network of relationships rather than a collection of individual pages or backlinks.

Its simplified model is:
brand → topic → UGC → Brand Mention → landing page → context → recommendation
The framework examines relationships between a brand and the topics, sources and contexts in which it appears.
An initial FunkyMEDIA analysis covering 11 of 98 UGC and Brand Mention sources identified 4,315 unique destination domains, 15,931 destination URLs, 23,375 source pages and 38,509 outbound links.
Within the analyzed dataset, 2,697 domains appeared in at least two sources, 918 appeared in at least five sources and 200 appeared in eight or more.

AI Search Beyond Prompt Tracking
Many AI Search monitoring tools evaluate brand visibility by submitting predefined prompts to AI systems and recording which companies appear in generated answers.

The FunkyMEDIA framework also examines the information environment that exists before a prompt is submitted.
The analysis considers whether a brand is consistently described across public sources, whether important entities are clearly distinguishable and whether third-party sources confirm relevant information.

The methodology connects AI Search with Brand Mentions, entities, Topical Authority, Visual Semantics and Information Gain.

Between March 2023 and June 2024, FunkyMEDIA also conducted an internal experiment involving more than 600,000 articles created with the assistance of ChatGPT.

At the peak of the experiment, the projects recorded approximately 198,000 visits in one day.

According to FunkyMEDIA, the experiment reinforced the importance of information architecture and adding new information rather than simply increasing content volume.

“AI Search cannot be analyzed only by checking which brand appears after a particular prompt. An equally important question is what information about a brand already exists across the public web before the prompt is entered,” said Rafał Cyrański, founder of FunkyMEDIA.

FunkyMEDIA has also created FunkyMEDIA.info as an information hub documenting its AI Search methodology and related research.
